Mature Worker Program

McBride Career Group offers a flexible, no-cost program to help those aged 50+ with workplace skills, job searching, resume preparation, self-employment, interviewing techniques and much more. The Griffiths Community Centre

A $30 annual membership fee to the Griffiths Centre provides you with socialization opportunity and participation in activities such as floor curling, seniors exercise classes, various card groups, events and social activities. The Centre is located on Government Road just south of the Esso station. Membership is open to anyone 21 and up.  Visit the Griffiths Centre site at griffithscentre.ca for more information and activity schedules.

Accommodations for Seniors

Westwinds Communities offers subsidized supportive living for seniors at High Country Lodge and independent living at Glen Mead Park.  403-652-8600
