    A Tax Certificate provides detailed information about the taxes on a property, including any outstanding balances. Whether you are a homeowner, a real estate agent, or a legal professional, this document is essential for various property transactions.

    Please complete the form – all fields are required. Email the completed PDF to: info@diamondvalley.town.

    Note: Requests will not be processed until payment of $30.00 has been received. Homeowners may request a Tax Certificate at no charge.

    Tax certificates cost $30, and there is no charge for homeowners. To make a payment, choose one of the following options:

    Cheque:
    Payable to the Town of Diamond Valley. Include a copy of the signed cheque with your request.
    Mail to: Box 10, Black Diamond, AB  T0L 0H0

    E-Transfer:
    Send to info@diamondvalley.town.
    Include "Tax Certificate Request" and the property civic address in the memo.

    Credit Card:
    Note: Option Pay charges a service fee for credit card payments.

    Please note: 
    When making the OptionPay payment, you must attach a PDF of the confirmation email you receive after submitting this request form.
    You must also know the mailing address of the credit card holder.

    By submitting this form, I hereby authorize the Town of Diamond Valley to process my request for a tax certificate. I understand that the fee for this service is $30, unless I am the homeowner, in which case the fee is waived. I understand that my request will not be processed until the fee has been received.

  15. Electronic Signature Agreement*

    By checking the "I agree" box below, you agree and acknowledge that 1) your application will not be signed in the sense of a traditional paper document, 2) by signing in this alternate manner, you authorize your electronic signature to be valid and binding upon you to the same force and effect as a handwritten signature, and 3) you may still be required to provide a traditional signature at a later date.

    The personal information collected through the Tax Certificate Request form is for the purpose of issuing a tax certificate to the requesting party. This collection is authorized under section 4(c) of the Protection of Privacy Act.
