5. The Town of Diamond Valley often photographs and records public events, programs, and activities to showcase our vibrant community and promote municipal initiatives. These photos, videos, and recordings may be used in Town publications, advertisements, social media, and on our website.

   To ensure transparency and respect for individual privacy, anyone who may be identifiable in Town media materials is asked to complete a Photography & Recording Consent Form.

   Please review the form carefully before signing. If you have any questions about how your image or recordings may be used, feel free to contact the Town Office for more information.

18. I understand and agree to the following:

    1. Consent to Photography: I grant the Town the right to take, use, reuse, publish, and republish any photographs or recordings of me or my child (if applicable), individually or in conjunction with other individuals, for promotional, advertising, or informational purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, print materials, digital media, websites, social media, and other marketing materials.

    2. No Compensation: I understand that I will not receive any monetary compensation for the use of photographs or recordings of me or my child (if applicable).

    3. Release of Claims: I release and discharge the Town, its representatives, and any third parties acting under its authority from any liability arising from the use of photographs or recordings of me or my child (if applicable), including any claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of any intellectual property rights.

    4. Right to Decline Use: I understand that the Town has the right, at its sole discretion, to use or not use the photographs or recordings of me or my child (if applicable).

    5. Confidentiality: I understand that once published, the Town cannot fully control or guarantee confidentiality or how the photographs or recordings of me or my child (if applicable) may be used by third parties.

    6. Duration: This consent shall remain in effect indefinitely unless I provide written notice of revocation to the Town.

    7. Revocation Clause: I understand that revocation of this consent must be submitted in writing to the Town and will not affect materials already produced or published prior to revocation.

20. Protection of Privacy Act

    The personal information collected through the Photography & Video Recording Consent form is for the purpose of obtaining consent for photography and video. This collection is authorized under section 4(c) of the Protection of Privacy Act.
