The Town is pleased to share that as of Wednesday evening, the wastewater forcemain leak between Turner Valley and Black Diamond has been repaired.
A forcemain is a pressurized pipe that carries wastewater between communities. When a leak occurs, immediate action is required to divert and contain wastewater while repairs are made.
The Town extends sincere thanks to the Public Works team and contractors for their quick, skilled response, and to residents in Turner Valley for their cooperation in limiting water use during the emergency.
Crews will continue to monitor the site closely to ensure the repair remains stable and no further work is needed.
