Family & Community Support Services
Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) programs operate through a partnership between local municipal governments and the province in which provincial FCSS funding is matched with local tax dollars on an 80/20 share basis. This funding is used to support and develop locally driven preventative social service initiatives.
The Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Board operates within the provincial FCSS mandate to help ensure its residents have access to programs and services that foster individual resiliency and a well-networked, supportive community. FCSS Board meetings address community need and guide program and funding choices. Diamond Valley Board meetings are typically held twice in January, and once in February, May, and September of each year.

FCSS Meetings are open to the public so feel free to attend a meeting to learn more or apply to become a volunteer board member to ensure your voice counts. Becoming part of FCSS will allow you to share your ideas and insights so you can help create a positive impact in the lives of our children, youth, families, seniors, and vulnerable individuals.
