  • Please include the Roll Number or Civic Address on the memo line
  • To avoid penalties, the envelope must be post-marked on or before the payment due date.
  • In the event of mail delays or interruptions, it is the property owner's responsibility to ensure payments are made on time through one of the other available payment methods.


Seniors Property Tax Deferral Program

The Government of Alberta offers a program that allows qualified senior homeowners the option to defer part or all of their property taxes through a low-interest home equity loan.  

  1. The Alberta Government pays your property taxes directly to the municipality on your behalf.
  2. Re-pay the loan, with interest, anytime, or when you move or sell your home.
  3. Defer taxes for up to 10 years without having to reapply each year.
