Diamond Valley Community Garden

The Diamond Valley Community Garden, located in the Black Diamond community, is run by local volunteers and is a sub-committee of the Parks, Paths, and Recreation Committee. Gardeners come together each year to learn more about healthy gardening and share their insights.

Registration

Registration for the Community Garden begins in mid-February by first reaching out to current gardeners to confirm whether or not they are staying. Those newcomers wishing to have a garden bed must contact Jane Toews at 403-620-1316 to be assigned a bed number or
waitlist.  

Fees will be paid online by Credit Card or through the Town Office by cash, debit, cheque, or credit.  Payments in person must be paid during regular Office Hours of Monday-Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm.  After hours it can be made online or by dropping a cheque (no cash) in the drop slot by the door on the upper level.

Registration Forms (PDF) for the 2023 season can be downloaded, and fees can be paid at the Town Office at 301 Centre Ave by cash, cheque or debit or online by credit card. A drop slot by the door on the upper level allows payments to be made by cheque after office hours.

Annual Plant Sale

The 2023 Plant Sale will take place in June for more information, reach out to the garden representatives.
