We throw away vast amounts of stuff. Even things with almost nothing wrong will receive a new lease on life after a simple repair. The trouble is many of us have forgotten that we can repair things ourselves. Knowing how to make repairs is a skill, quickly lost, and just as quickly relearned with some guidance and a little time.

This is exactly what the repair café is all about, helping you fix what's broken. You are welcome to bring your item and work on it yourself with the support and guidance of our volunteers, or you can make an appointment, drop it off and we will let you know when it's ready to be picked up!

Appointments are best to ensure you have a spot; but, we will always find a way to help you out, even if we have to put you on a waitlist first. The next Repair Café is being held Sept 24, 11 am-3:30 pm at the Griffith's Centre at 122 Government Road, Black Diamond.
